crisis can look different for everyone & you are allowed to define it for yourself. crisis is often a moment when someone has reached a point where they need/want someone or something outside of themselves for help and/or intervention.
if you feel like you want to kill yourself, or have harmed yourself, you need & deserve urgent medical help.
if you can, tell someone you trust how you’re feeling & ask them to support you in accessing these services.
we know it can all be so scary & imperfect, but you do have options (uk-based):
- call 999 for an ambulance
- go straight to a&e
- call your local crisis team
- call a crisis helpline (numbers below)
